There is no flag large enough to cover the shame
of killing innocent people.
Howard Zinn

Fourman Films are a not for profit group of friends, who out of a working class sense of bitter disgust at the troop casualties coming out of Iraq and the poor treatment of soldiers who's governments are sending them into harms way ill-equipped and for reasons now proven to be fabricated, felt they had to act to stop the governments lies death and hypocrisy. Nothing is more upsetting than seeing an 18 year old soldier coming home in a body bag! It is just wrong and unnecessary.
With the development of the Documentary genre in recent years, real life stories have been told in even more sophisticated ways, using even better technology, equipment resources and advanced film making techniques.
With Fourman Films, you will get none of that. None of us have any media training whatsoever. We basically took action because like the majority, we felt the war in Iraq was wrong. We are four working class lads having a say. That is it. Our film cost less than £2000 to make and we had no catering truck on set.
The government and the security services consistently and deliberately overestimate the threat to the general population. Remember the 45 minute claim. Whilst there decisions seem to cost the taxpayer billions it is major companies cashing in on the 'rebuilding' of Iraq which now has 60% unemployment and tens of thousands of 'foreign contractors'. Who are the real insurgents? Prior to the 1990 Gulf War, Iraq had a higher literacy rate than Britain.
So with this film, we do not want to make any money. We just want our troops home safely and cared for, the way they deserve. Tony Blair and others should not be allowed to get away with what they have done. Therefore, I propose that if we do ever make any money, we will fund a campaign to free Corporal James Piotrowski currently serving 7-10 years in a military prison for suffering mental health issues after he returned from battle.
